We need a head NSO (Non- Skating Official)
This is a person who is in charge of staffing & training other non skating official’s for games.
It is a position that can be learned, even it you do not understand derby currently. You would need to be available for all season home games. You do not have to be a skater, its actually better if you do not plan to skate this year. Contact us at sintralvalley@gmail.com if you’re interested.
There are many ways you can get involved with your local roller derby team! Whether you are a skater or not, you can contribute your talents to help local roller derby thrive.
We welcome new skaters any time of the year. We are currently recruiting skaters of any skill level. Adults may begin training with our adult team, Sintral Valley Derby. Children ages 5-17 may join our junior roller derby team, the Motown Misfits.
Skaters may also coach or referee. Refs skate with the team for free!
We provide comprehensive training to all of our skaters. Don’t know how to skate? No problem! We’ll teach you.
Not a skater? Come learn how to NSO (track stats during bouts). Non-skating officials are very important and appreciated by the Sintral Valley Derby Girls!
We have great coaches, but we could use an extra hand on deck! If you’ve got what it takes, please get in touch!
